The cabin is in a "hiking and canoeing paradise". Just what I needed, a chance to showcase my athletic prowess. The airports nearby are such a convenient hop, skip, and jump away. Ready, set, adventure!
Oh, joy! The nearest airport is either the Isle of Man or Teesside. Because who doesn't love a little extra travel time and confusion?

We were blown away by the lovely cabin at Ravenglass Log Cabin. The photos don't do it justice. The cabin is spacious, cozy, and surrounded by wood, creating a peaceful atmosphere. It is well-equipped, very clean, and offers plenty of privacy. The hosts, Anne and David, are friendly and fantastic. They were there for any questions or a chat, but also gave us the space to enjoy our stay in solitude. The location is great, with the coastal path and a train ride to Whitehaven being a must-do.
I highly recommend this cabin for a quiet and comfortable getaway. Despite the poor WiFi connection, located outside the cabin, there are plenty of other amenities to enjoy.

The cabin provided everything we needed, from fresh bedding to all the necessary pots and pans. the hosts were friendly and ensured our privacy while being available for any questions. the location offered stunning views of the sea and nearby castle. We were pleasantly surprised by the well, maintained garden where we could pick and use vegetables. the cabin was spacious, clean, and cozy due to the surrounding wood. Taking the train along the coast and walking the coastal path was a must, do activity.
The nearest grocery store was a bit far, requiring a 4, mile drive for supplies.

Beautiful cabin and charming village with everything the Lake District has to offer close to hand. Fabulous hosts Anne and Dave, who were exceptional and went out of their way to assist us during a motorcycle breakdown. Gorgeous cabin kept spotless, equipped with all the gadgets, appliances, and tools you could ever need.
Poor wifi connection - hub not in the cabin itself, so the internet was inconsistent. Limited food options nearby, with the nearest co-op being 4 miles away and a bit sparse.

The pictures don't do it justice. It's the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway. The hosts, Anne and Dave, were really good and went out of their way to make our stay stress-free. When our motorcycle broke down, they stored it overnight for us and made the whole experience easier. The cabin itself was spacious, cozy, and well-equipped. The shower was hot and powerful, the bed was comfy, and the kitchen had an very nice oven and hob. We even got to use the kayaks and pick fresh vegetables from their garden. It was a wonderful, unexpected treat. The wifi was a bit weak, but I was there to relax, so it didn't bother me much. I highly recommend this cabin and can't wait to come back for a longer stay.

I had an amazing stay at the log cabin. It was spotlessly clean and very spacious, making me feel right at home. The hosts were very good, setting up balloons and even leaving a small gift and cake for my partner's birthday. The attention to detail made all the difference.
